My original intent with this one was to write something about how I wished to be more like a gothic castle, which I think led to me realizing the "why" behind that sentiment being how proudly these magnificent structures stand and how in awe we are of them because of it. I removed the sense of self from the final version which I am much happier with, but the intent is still there behind it all.
This is such a striking singular image, and I really love the characterization of the architecture itself as "majestic and unafraid". Very well done.
