Family of Ghosts

Earlier this year, I was doing some experimenting with natural dyes (avocado, turmeric and spinach) and ended up with a bunch of fabric samples that I didn't know what to do with. I thought this would be a good project for them!

They are just painted with PVA glue and shaped over a tinfoil former which I later removed. The strings are held in with a bead, and I used these little heart ones I had because I thought it would be cute for them each to have a little heart in them.

I have been calling them Norma, Pip, Tim, Eric and Leaf, and they are currently residing on my houseplant with the other Halloween decorations!
