come one, come all - if you dare
Candy fills the heart, Candy fills the soul. Candy fills the empty corners and the gaping holes.
Come, come, and join the mad parade. The circus welcomes one and all, so join the candy kids brigade.
The acrobats are made of taffy, the ringmaster of cream. The animals are cookies, of course, as established previously.
The fortune teller caramel, the strongman licorice. The fire eater marshmallow, with s’mores for bellies nourished.
But the clowns are made of candy corn, and there the secret lies. For very few like candy corn and reject the sweet disguise.
The clowns, they don’t take kindly to being so put down. So join the circus, if you dare, but never ever frown.
For candy fills the heart and candy fills the soul. And candy fills the empty corners and every gaping hole.

My brain automatically filled in the circus music in the background while I read this. I love it!
