I Put a Spell on You

Welcome to the extremely haunted town of Scareborough (look, creative naming is not my strong suit, I went with the obvious pun. It makes me smile, what more can I say.) This year, instead of 13 seperate artworks I took inspiration from one of my favorite artists who has been doing a series of maps over the last few months, and I made a map.

Our first stop on the grand tour of the town is the Moirai Sisters:

The three sisters Clotilde, Lavinia, and Adrasteia, have lived in their little cottage high in the mountains above the town longer than anyone can remember. (And memories in these parts are very long, as tends to happen when the dead can't leave as they should.) No one would dare to call them witches. But if you have a problem that only a witch can solve you'd better make the long trek up through the hills to get a potion from Clotilde, or a piece of magical ephemera from Lavinia. If you are truly desperate, then make your pilgrimage on the night of a new moon and beg Adrasteia to perform a spell for you. But you had better be sure, and you had better be ready, because some things can't be paid for with money. And that's all I'll say about that.
