Entry 4 by Mikaela Miyamoto
Dear Dreadful Diary,
With Edward beginning to relax in his need to be near me I was able to spend a quiet day by myself! I’m so grateful the amulet has continued to wear off the effects of my previous charms. I decided to have a picnic in my favorite spot. I packed a lovely little meal of crackers and cheese and some fruit! Apples are my favorite but oranges seem to be abundant in the stores this time of year so I grabbed some of each! Although they’re not as useful as the apples with their seeds and such. I made sure to bring a nice big blanket and an umbrella! I also brought some extra incense and a few bottles of drink to leave behind, it’s only right! I was always taught growing up that you should bring something with you, even something small, when you visit someone else’s home. There were a few newer stones when I visited this time. None near my usual resting spot but I did notice some new neighbors in the area. It’s both exciting and a bit depressing. But that is the cycle of life, is it not? I made sure to place my blanket so as not to disturb anyone and peacefully ate my lunch. Something about a cemetery is just so peaceful, I guess it feels a bit like home. But I love the sound of the wind in the trees and the birds chirping. The sweet sun gently embracing you in a warm hug as you visit your loved ones. I also never seem to be bothered in a place like this. Everyone seems to acknowledge each other but also mind their own business. It’s the best place to go when you want to be alone but don’t want to feel lonely. I do think I’ll give Edward a call tomorrow though.
Love,
Luna the Lively
