Dear Dreadful Diary,

I fear the time to depart is fast approaching. I keep seeing signs everywhere I look. In the garden, in my stews, even in the clouds! Although I can’t help but feel that my family might be being a bit dramatic. They’ve made the clouds appear so dark lately. I keep seeing shapes in these gloomy clouds. X’s and inverted horseshoes and so many crows. Although crows aren’t necessarily bad luck unless in a specific amount and I did count them! But nothing there, really. Also many broken hearts?? I have no doubt my sister is the one sending those, however. She never liked when I entangled myself with a boy and especially not a mortal boy. But what’s life without a little fun? The crows are the most puzzling. I can’t quite put my finger on it, but it seems familiar and important for some reason… Speaking of familiar,  another of the shapes was one of a pendant? Its origin is somewhere in the back of my mind but I just can’t find it right now. I know that my trip is almost over and of course there are rules that must be followed while I’m still here. But I haven’t broken any big ones! The Edward thing would certainly be frowned upon, especially with a family of my caliber, but considering my age it’s truly not that big of a deal. Not enough that they would be using loopholes in the rules to contact me like this. The bone thing has also resolved itself! So I really didn’t do anything too bad. It is a little worrisome but there’s only 3 more days left. I’m sure nothing too crazy could possibly happen in that amount of time. I’ll keep note of any other clues that seem to reveal themselves below. But that’s all for now.
