If you venture into the mist and get turned around, or get lost in the mountains on your way to or from the Moirai sisters, be careful not to end up in the Spider's wood. Think of all the myths of giant spiders and then add venom and you've got the picture.

Of course their webs are incredible. And the fabrics and ropes that can be woven from it are a prized luxury. It's a very dangerous job harvesting giant spider silk, but it does support most of the town. For a while someone tried to domesticate the creatures to make it easier, but it didn't take.
